It was a challenging day to be honest. One of those days where you ask yourself 'why?'. It is what it is. We are happy to be in the lead of the championship. We have to open the road, when you see other drivers go faster than you it is frustrating. We did all we could today, one mistake cost us 2.0sec but other than that it's fine.

I tried to push as much as I can, the position with [Kastuta] is really important for tomorrow. I did what I could. The other drivers can come and do such good stage times and we have to fight so hard, but we'll see what we can do.

The tyres are okay on this stage. Only a few cars went through, so a lot of cleaning. Fastest stage of the rally I believe, you get a bit of a handicap with the cleaning. It is the cleanest stage of the day for me today, so I enjoy. The next one will be a disaster, we will keep driving our rhythm, it has been a good speed today so we'll see for the road position tomorrow.

It was okay. Still lots of cleaning, the 2WD cars in front make it so difficult but we did what we could, off to the next one. Much more abrasive.

I have a problem with the handbrake, every time I pull the handbrake I lock up the four wheels. And then the cleaning obviously. We knew it was the worst stage of the loop from the recce, but we didn't know how much we would struggle.

It's much faster, I struggled a bit less with the cleaning. I never know what will be the grip, sometimes it is gravel, sometimes it is dusty asphalt. It is difficult to judge the grip. We will take it stage by stage and keep a close lid on everything, that is the target.

It's massive cleaning in there, compared to the recce it is a completely different stage. It's much drier, it was very humid during recce. It is very big grip, 5cm, quite loose. No chance.

It's gonna be crazy for sure. First car on the road won't be easy but it's a challenge we have to face and I am looking forward to it. It looks like it could be fun.
