We tried, we're in the fight with Mabellini, we tried our best in the stage. We can be satisfied with our day, it was a bit slower than the others but the first day was quite good for us.

I really enjoyed the stage to be honest, we kept the rhythm, the possibility to be here in this car and with this co-driver and the pace notes is amazing, hopefully this time will help us cement our position.

There are some rocks in the 2nd pass, it was quite a surprise for me. It's the same for everyone so we tried to just keep the line and not take any risks in terms of punctures.

To be honest, originally I wasn't so fast on this stage, this year we are fast on it. My driving on the longest stage wasn't so good so I need to improve the driving.

I tried my best but in the 2nd half the stage was very slippery, it was difficult to keep the optimal line, aside from that we are here and time is not a disaster so we can be pleased.

To be honest I tried my best, it's the first stage of the race, it's a good pace to be at. You cannot sleep, even in the first stage.

To be honest, I want to be competitive against the Italians and other drivers, Tarmac is a more familiar surface so hopefully we will be on top time.
