It's my father's birthday and my son's in three days. We are at the finish, it was a difficult rally and I'm very tired. But I'm very happy.

On this stage, I was going fast where it was dry and in the forest I was cautious, on the first left corner we hit something and I thought we had a puncture, luckily we didn't but we have to try and manage this.

Early in the morning we were a bit too stiff, the car was jumping from the rear which didn't fill me with confidence as it's very easy to make a mistake here. But now it's perfect.

It's a bit closer and it gives me more motivation to push, this stage was completely dry so my car was working well. On the previous ones where they a little narrow, it isn't perfect but we'll change something so it is a bit better. It'll be an interesting afternoon.

I think it's better in a way in the first stage, every year I have too much respect, so we drive a bit faster in this one and we're giving it the maximum in the third one.

I didn't expect to be leading on the first day of Barum because hte standard is so crazy, lots of fast local drivers out there.
Last year on SS1, we had heavy rain for the first car. It's common in Barum, but the pace is really high because the rest of the stages were really dry.
15sec lead is nothing, the first stage tomorrow is crazy! We have to wake up with our right foot and go flat out."
I'd be proud to win this rally, I started my rally career here in the 0 car in 2000. I said "I want to win this rally" but I never knew I'd be stood here.

It feels really good, when you have little experience from the first pass you can release the brake earlier or keep the throttle on the floor, the grip level is not as hard as it was in the first pass.

his stage is very tricky and we were out nearly in the same corner where Erik went off in the first pass, so it's a very tricky stage.

Maybe there was some rain shower, there were two or three places where it was damp. I was pushing, the car is working well.

This stage is really demanding, there's some quite big jumps, it was not on the cards but we'll go with it. I think Erik is a local lad, so he'll have the experience.
