We've been learning a lot this year so if we can put a program together for next year and use this experience to build some speed. We've got unfinished business. Win the championship this year and then come out and win some rallies next year!

As we were coming through the gravel section there was a right and a left and I slowed down too much for the right so I thought ' ok, the grip is higher than expected', so I pushed down on the left but then I pushed too hard and then there was a tree! So that's the end of that unfortunately. I knew straight away we weren't gonna get away with that. On the positive side the championship is still looking OK as things stand, I said we don't want to win it parked up on the side of the road, technically we aren't now, but we'll see what happens this afternoon. We've done the hard work where we could make a mistake like this, we've held the pace over Mārtinš this weekend and held a good position in terms of making sure we got points. All in all, we're very happy with how the season has gone.

Surprised, this is a tricky stage, lots going on and there's lots of loose stuff coming out on the road too. Not an overly committed run, but good stuff.

It does sound good, but we don't want to be too complacent. Three tricky stages tomorrow so we want to bring it home in one piece.
Tomorrow is more tricky, also the locals know the stages very well tomorrow. We've got the car working well this afternoon, so just not going to take any stupid risks and try and maintain it for tomorrow.
We're learning a lot, I've never done a bumpy Tarmac rally before, but we're taking it in a lot and we're hoping to come back and do it again next year. I'm glad it's not wet!
It's amazing to see a Kiwi flag over there and hopefully we can make sure we party with them all tomorrow night.

It's obviously not as good a day ticked off, we're counting down the days. Tomorrow is tricky, but we've made some improvements and we're starting to feel more comfortable ahead of tomorrow.

To be honest, the jet lag is getting worse over the next 3 rallies. My tip for getting over jet lag? Buy yourself a rally car.

Obviously not doing anything different on the driving side, but we've softened the car up so it felt a bit more forgiving in there. Small steps.

We've got a lot more to lose so we're trying to keep it clean, I've misread the conditions for this stage on the recce, I though it was high grip but there's bumps everywhere. We're also trying to get experience for if we come here in future.

Yeah, it's difficult when you're just trying to manage things, it's probably a lot more difficult but it gives us room for margin and when you're driving as slowly as we are you just want to enjoy it.

It was obviously fun to come here and drive a rally car, counting down the stages though. there's a few high commitment areas where we held off a bit but we're just taking the safety approach.
